Just Say, "I Love You"

Three words.  Three words that, to some people, seem trivial if spoken too many times.  But, to me, it is not how many times you say it or how often you say it, all that is important is that you mean it.  If you mean it you can say it as many times and as often as you like.

The last thing I said to my Mother was, "I love you."  And I'm glad it was.  The last thing she said to me was, "I love you."  And this is a great comfort to me since I lost her.  So many times when I think of her, I hear those words again in my mind.  Year after year, the thought that she loved me gives me the strength and the courage to go on.

I try, at the end of every conversation with my wonderful Daughter, to tell her, "I love you."  I don't say it just because I want it to be the last thing she remembers of me.  I say it because I mean it.  I mean it and I can't say it enough.  I love you!

So just say, "I love you."  Say it often and say it a lot.  If you mean it then you can't be wrong any time you say it.  Don't let anyone discourage you.  Say it.  Write it.  Put it on balloons.  Hire a sky-writer.  Just say, "I love you!"
