The Seven Deadly Sins

Lust, gluttony, avarice, sloth, anger, envy, pride.

I have never liked this list because, at one time or another, I am guilty of these things. But I always thought that this list was better than the Ten Commandments because if you can avoid these things then following the Ten Commandments is a slam dunk. Being Catholic is all about guilt and this list kept the guilt coming!

The Church has released a new list of the Seven Deadly Sins updated for today. The new list:

Pollution, genetic engineering, excessive wealth, drug dealing, abortion, pedophilia, social injustice.

YES! MY GUILT IS GONE! I am a perfect 0 for 7! Thank you Lord!
