Da Bears... Again

Well, pro football is back again. Last year I wrote:

"I think the Bears have a chance because all their first-stringers are back. If they can avoid injuries they should make the play-offs. I think they are going to go 10 and 6. So there you have it, my prediction. We'll see!"

Well! They went 13 and 3! And they made it to the Super Bowl! But they lost to the Indianapolis Colts and their great quarterback, Peyton Manning. I wish we had won but I think Manning is one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. And he's a great person who deserved to win just on character alone.

This year I think the Bears will struggle a little. First, last year they got a lot of breaks and won more than their share of games by capitalizing on the other teams' mistakes. Second, many teams, even the not so good ones, will put up their best effort against the Bears. Even though I think the Bears might be a better team this year than last year, I am going to predict the same 10 and 6 as I did last year, but they will blow through the playoffs and win the Super Bowl!
