Guns and the People Who Care

The same day that thirty-three people died at Virginia Tech, the Gun Lobby and the Gun Controllers just had to do their thing and start using the tragedy for their own purposes. The barrel of the 9mm pistol was still warm when the Gun Lobby said that if the students had been armed, less would have died, and the other side said that if handguns were illegal this wouldn’t have happened. These people should be ashamed of themselves. I just want to say: "SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP! Thirty-three people are dead, nearly as many are wounded, and thousands more are traumatized! Please shut up... at least for a while."
