It's April Already!

It's April Already!

I know I have written before about the swift passage of time and its effects on my mind and body, but unlike my corporeal self, my thoughts of aging toward eventual death don't seem to get old, otherwise why would I dwell on them so often? Life just keeps screaming past me. Everything changes but my gloomy thoughts.

I took the car in for repairs the other day and while I waited I thought that, if one were so inclined, one could keep an automobile working almost in indefinitely. I could pass it on to my daughter and she could eventually do the same for generations. Okay, I want that for me! I want cloning! I want anything that will make it so I don't have to die!

Okay, I'm taking deep breaths... Right. I just hope when I go I can show some class and not go all freaky. Actually, my doctor told me there is this new pill that is coming out next year that will extend a person's life by fifty years... April fools.
