Innocent Until Proven Guilty

Tried in the press, died in the press. Governor Blagojevich is gone! Impeached and convicted, and he was not convicted in any court! He may be corrupt and he may be a criminal but it has yet to be proven.

I would have understood if somehow he could have been "suspended" for a while but to kick him out of office without being convicted of any crime just is not right!

This is the same mentality that the Bush Administration used to put people in Gitmo. We say they are guilty. Court? Judges? Who needs them! I am ashamed that only a very few people are in the least bothered by the Blagojevich ouster. I am so proud of our country for creating the Constitution, but why don't we all fight to follow it?
