A Very Happy Thanksgiving

After eight Thanksgivings with George W. Bush as President, we are finally rid of him and his ridiculous Presidency! I couldn't be more thankful!

As always, I am also very thankful to my wonderful Sister who made a wonderful Thanksgiving for our family. She did a great job!

I am thankful to have a job! These economic times are frightening! Luckily, the company I work for is sound and prosperous. I pray this will continue.

And I am also thankful to be alive to see the day when enough citizens of the United States could see past their prejudice to elect a fine man, who happens to be Black, President of the United States. I hope this is the start of a trend to bring more minorities and women into our Federal Government.

Finally, I am thankful to all those who sacrifice for others. Public service will be the salvation of our society. Getting young people involved for the greater good can be the solution to many of today's challenges.
