Feelin' All Right

The McCain Campaign pulled out of Michigan!  This is a sign that undecided voters and Democrats who might have voted against Obama are coming around to realize that they are not better off with McCain.  Obama has a good chance at Florida, Virginia, and North Carolina.  People there are finally seeing Obama as the candidate that will help the middle class rather than an uppity  n.... (derogatory term for a Black Person).

The bloom is off the Palin rose.  Undecided voters and confused Democrats are seeing that Sarah Palin is nothing more than a blip.  The only reason left to vote for her is the fact that she is a woman.  She is a right wing nut job who is not prepared to be President because she is almost totally uninformed.  Just being a Washington outsider does not qualify you to be President.  As much as the McCain Campaign wants us to believe that she has more executive experience than Obama and is therefore qualified to be President, she is way too ignorant of the way everything in the Federal Government works to be a heartbeat away from the Oval Office.  She looks great in a speech or a "debate" with no serious rebuttal or real follow-up questions.  She can memorize responses to questions but she is forced to repeat herself in follow-up questions and rebuttals.  The ability to defend your initial statements is essential to political success.  Many prominent conservatives have had the courage to say out loud that she is either weak or unqualified.

I am feeling good about Obama's chances at this point.  We have one month to go and the only real hope of the McCain supporters is a terrorist attack or a huge mistake by Obama.  It gets dirtier every day as McCain and Palin try to tag Obama as being a tax and spend, black militant, terrorist sympathizer.  As they do that I hope the undecideds will see that this as a desperate attempt to smear a good man for political gain.  I believe that McCain could have won if he ran the same campaign as he did in 2000.  I would never have voted for him but that was a man I respected.  The 2008 McCain is a pandering flip-flopper.  When Republicans are off the record and not required to tow the party line, they see it too.  Unfortunately for the People, both parties believe that winning isn't everything, it's the only thing!
