Hitch Yourself To A Falling Star

I have kept my AOL email address for years. AOL has gone free so it doesn't cost me anything and I have some friends from years ago who still contact me once in a while, so I have kept the address. But I have noticed in polls that AOL has conducted during this election cycle that most of the AOL people are Republicans. In the current poll on who will be our next President, McCain is leading 2 to 1 and Obama doesn't win one state. Thank God these people don't reflect reality or I'd consider moving to Canada!

I have said it before and I will say it again. Anyone who makes less than $100,000 a year who votes for a Republican is an idiot! A Republican is not going to make you richer or ease you financial woes, he is going to help the rich get richer and throw you scraps! A Republican is not going to improve your health care, he is going let it go on just like it is. A Republican is not going to make the environment cleaner, he is going to let the damage continue so that business makes more money. And worst of all, a Republican is not going to keep you safer, he is going to kill more of our young men and women in the name of democratic ideals that many nations will never believe in.

So AOL people, hitch yourself to a falling star and crash and burn or wake up to reality. All politicians work for themselves and their constituents. Republicans take care of the rich at the expense of the poor. Democrats will raise taxes on the rich to help the middle class and the poor. 90% of you and your children will always be better off with a Democrat President and Congress. Really look at the last seven and a half years. Ask Reagan's question. Are you better off? The answer is NO! ANY Democrat in the White House is better for you than ANY Republican! WAKE UP!
