Obama - Clinton or Clinton - Obama

Neither.  Because many people think that the two remaining Democrat candidates may stay tied right down to the convention, some people think that the two Democrat candidates would make a "Dream Team" in either order.  They may be right, but it will not happen.  By turning down the Vice-Presidency, both candidates know that they can do more of what each of them wants while maintaining control of their own agendas.  Barack could finish his term in the Senate, become the Governor of Illinois, and run for President again in 2016.  Hillary could become the Majority Leader and drive Health Care reform through the Senate.

I hate to bring up another point about this subject, but I have to ask a question.  If a Black Man is elected President, does he have to worry more than a White Man about being assassinated?  And would his choice for Vice-Presidential running mate take into account that a racist who would kill him might make that decision based on who the Vice-President is?  I think the answers are no and no, but being a person who thinks about all the possibilities, I can't help it.  People who might think about killing W, for example, would have to consider that they would get Cheney!  Lucky for W!  Also people who strongly disagree with W are more likely to believe in gun control.  Maybe it's my age and the fact that I grew up in a time of open hatred of the Black People and the murder of MLK, who I loved and revered.

Clinton and Obama do have support in different states.  Clinton has the big states and Obama could bring some Southern and rural states that would normally be conceded to the Republicans.  If Clinton wins the nomination, she needs a Southerner and if Obama wins he doesn't need anybody!  I believe that if Obama wins the nomination, he will be the next President of the United States.
