Worst to First

Here is my list of the current Presidential Candidates.  They are ranked from worst to first.

Republicans

There is not one of these men I could vote for.  Sorry.

Mitt Romney - If you look up the term "Flip-Flopper" in the dictionary, his picture is on the page!  This guy is a liar who will say anything and do anything to get elected.  I can't understand how he can be a viable candidate except for the fact that he is rich and handsome.  He is the best looking Republican candidate, but you can't judge a book by its cover!

Rudy Giuliani - 9/11.  He was a good Mayor of New York.  He unknowingly risked his life and he was a decent manager of the situation, but he was no hero on 9/11.  Ask the police and firemen, they will tell you how they asked for help and support BEFORE the tragedy, and Rudy turned a deaf ear.  Mr. One Note.  Let him go back to giving $100,000 speeches.

Mike Huckaby - He seems like such a likable guy.  Unfortunately he supports making our Constitution to more resemble the Bible and to force the Christian way on all of us.  Even most Republicans in Congress would oppose that, so he would be kept in check.  At least he is a Republican that truly believes the federal government should help the poor and downtrodden.

John McCain - He would be a scary Commander-in-Chief, he might pull the trigger too quickly.  But he is not that religious and he believes in fairness to the middle class over that of the rich.  He would be 72 when he takes the Oath of Office, that would concern me, but I refuse to hold that against him.  He would be my choice as the most bearable Republican President.

Democrats

I can't lose with any of these Presidential candidates.  I get the first Woman, the first Black, or a rich White guy who truly cares about all of us.  I will vote for one of these candidates in November.

Hillary Clinton - She would make a competent and respectable President.  We need to get a woman elected to this highest office.  As President, she would be like her husband by trying to make peace with the other countries of the world and she would try to make the lives of the poor and the middle class better.  But she would be the old political type that would make deals with pork-barrel politicians, special interests, and the rich to get compromises she could live with.

John Edwards - His heart is in the right place and he might be a good President because he would be a peacemaker in foreign relations and he would support and protect the middle class and the poor.  My fear is that he would never have enough support of the People or the Congress and he would be unable to compromise to get things done, so we'd just continue to drift along as a nation.  I like him better than Hillary because he really wants to change the way things get done in Washington.

Barack Obama - My choice, but he might be buried by the way things work in Washington and could end up like Jimmy Carter getting nothing done.  That could all change if he has the support of a large majority of the American People because he has the possibility of actually motivating the country to follow him and take our country in a truly new direction.  Hope is his word and I buy into it.  He would make up for his lack of experience by surrounding himself with advisors that do have experience and would help him make the changes we all need.  He has the potential to be the greatest President in my lifetime.  No pressure Barack!
