The Perfect Game

No Runs, No Hits, No Errors, No Drugs

I was shocked to find out that many professional athletes have used performance enhancing drugs... NOT!  Anyone who believed that pros didn't use drugs to help them be better at their jobs, which pay millions of dollars, is either blind or naive.  Pro sports are the ultimate competition with the ultimate paycheck.  The small risk of getting caught and losing your job is worth it when soo much money and fame is at stake.

Personally, I think it is stupid to risk the negative physical side effects, but I totally understand.  I'll bet most of the men who take the drugs do it because the others did.  They can justify it by thinking it makes things even.  Fair is fair.  Imagine sitting on the bench and being second string behind Mark McGuire the year he beat Babe Ruth's record.  You would be sure that he was able to do what he did because of the drugs.  You want to be a starter next season?  Take the drugs!

Don't blame the players, it's Major League Baseball's fault.  If they really wanted to stop it, they could.  It's called a blood test.  But not this random stupidity.  The only true and fair way to do it is to test every player every month.  These players see doctors almost every day anyway.  If every major retail store can test every single employee, MLB can.  Require it in all players' contracts... DONE!
