Happy Blogiversary!

      It has been a year since I started writing blogs.  I have found it fun and even a little therapeutic.  I do try to ignore my shortcomings as a writer and just keep on plugging away.  It is a real rollercoaster ride.  Sometimes I have so much to say that I can't get it all down and others my mind is blank for days.  In May and June I wrote a total of twenty-four articles and this month I have struggled to put out four.

      I carry a folded piece of paper in my back pocket everywhere I go.  And I almost always have a pen.  When I get an idea, the theory goes, I write it down.  Well, unfortunately, it doesn't happen most times.  It's like a dream.  When you are having it, you are sure you will remember it.  Later, poof!  It's gone.  I had two today but when I got home and sat down to write, I couldn't remember them to save my life!

      Other times, I may have written down something memorable, but when it comes time to write the article, it doesn't seem so good anymore.  Worse, I just can't think of more than just the premise.  No article is good without support.  I like to have more than one example or explanation.  Sometimes I don't.  Those are the short ones.

      Well, as I embark on my second year, I plan more engrossing and exciting blogs!  Okay, I'll just hope for slightly interesting.  My greatest hope is that you like them.
