Who Cares About Global Warming?

There are people who say that global warming is a calamity, the effects on the world will grow to be greater than that of a nuclear world war. Most of the best scientists in the world agree on this, but a few, mostly right wing, backed by industrialists, minimize the issue and say it cannot be proven. Our current President falls into this group.

I don't know who to believe, but I know this; pollution is bad. Carbon dioxide can kill us. Let's limit the production of this gas. Why do we even care if global warming is real. Do we want too much carbon dioxide in our air? What I do know is that we need to fix this.

The way to get this done is simple. Let's put all the legislators in a room to figure this out. Very slowly we will pump in more and more carbon dioxide and raise the temperature until they come up with a solution. If they can't find an answer they will die. It's only fair that they should be the first to go.

And one more thing; Clean Coal is a joke! This is another job by the Right Wing of naming something incorrectly so that people with short attention spans won't question it. It still pollutes the air and most of the lakes in the northeastern United States produce fish with dangerous levels of mercury because of Clean Coal. The burning of any fossil fuel to produce energy puts more and more poison in our air. NO CONVENTIONAL FUEL BURNS CLEAN!

Bottom line is I don't care if global warming is real or not. I don't need to be scared into believing that pollution is bad and can destroy our world. Pollution is bad and can destroy our world!
