Jesus' Birth

I was just curious about Christmas.  Was Jesus really born in December?  I remember hearing stuff over the years that he was born in a warm month because the "shepherds were staying in the fields with their flocks."  So it couldn't be December.

I did some web surfing and found a few interesting articles.  One was about this kid named Jesus who was born in January.  Others were kind of scientific about the Lord Jesus' birth.  He was born six months after John the Baptist.  The stars were here or there...  Anyway, there were a few that agreed on September.

SEPTEMBER!  That is nine months after December.  Do you know what that means?  Jesus was conceived in December!  Oh my God!  What if Mary had been pro-choice?  When she realized she was pregnant and it wasn't her husband's baby she might have had an abortion.  There would be no Jesus and thus NO Christmas!  This is great ammo for all Anti-Abortionists!  Somewhere in a church classroom a teacher could now say, "Abortion is wrong.  Just think Janie, a world without Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ would be a world without Santa and presents!"
